I'd like to invite you to the following workshops that I'm holding at my home studio in Oyama, BC.  My studio is spacious, filled with natural light and offers a beautiful view of orchards and lakes - and there's an etching press which adds to the excitement and possibilities for printmaking.  I have taught art classes for over 20 years - privately and at Naramata Centre and the Kelowna Art Gallery.  I am a painter and printmaker (Diploma of Fine Arts) and exhibit regularly in public and commercial galleries.  Here is what I'm offering:

Monoprints I

Explore the creative potential of monoprints - a painterly method of printmaking that produces one of a kind artworks.  You can expect demonstrations balanced with ample time for your own explorations as you learn several printmaking techniques.  No art experience or drawing ability necessary.  This class is for newcomers to printmaking as well as those who have experienc and wish to continue their explorations.  All materials are provided and nontoxic water based inks will be used.  Class size is limited to 7 participants.  This 5 hour workshop is $100, supplies included.

Monoprints II

Building on what you learned in Monoprints I, this class will introduce linoblock techniques.  You will learn how to design, carve and print linoblocks as limited edition prints.  You'll also learn ways to use linoblocks to develop unique monoprints.  Class size is limited to 7 participants.  This 5 hour workshop is $100, supplies included.
